Ridgefield Neighbors Food Project

Also known as the Ridgefield Green Bag Project, the Ridgefield Neighbors Food Project is an all-volunteer effort where neighbors donate non-perishable food once every 2 months to local food pantries. We are the Ridgefield arm of the Clark Neighbors Food Project, which runs the same program across Clark County. Our Neighborhood Coordinators live here in Ridgefield, and the food collected here stays here. It goes to Neighbors Helping Neighbors in North Ridgefield and to the Ridgefield School District Family Resource Center.

Signing up is simple. Fill out the form below and a Neighborhood Coordinator near you will bring you a reusable green bag. Add a few non-perishable items to it when you shop. On the second Saturday of every even month, leave the bag by your front door. Your coordinator picks it up, leaves you an empty bag for next time, and takes the food to the pantries. One full bag is about ten meals, and the whole thing takes around 15 minutes a month.
